Papa Joe's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria

This locally owned gem is worth the wait! We visited on a Saturday night and it was packed, but we had a table in less than 30 minutes. The selections were varied and the food was delectable. It’s easy to see why they’ve earned all of the “Best of” awards hung on their walls. They offer all of the traditional Italian dishes, but the pasta with clams or mussels appeared to be a favorite with the other diners. The portions were large enough to need to go boxes. They offer vegetarian and gluten free options and were not put out at all when I inquired about these. Our waitress, Janice was wonderful! Give this memorable place a try!

I'm happy to report they finally offer a gluten free pizza as well as a gluten free pasta. Both are delicious. I have always loved this restaurant, but was unable to eat much of anything. Now I plan on going often!
