Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen

Was pretty upset with this Pappadeaux. I told my server that I had a dairy and soy allergy and he said he would talk to the chef and give me a list of things I can eat. He comes back and says that the chef told him to give me the gluten free menu because "I can pretty much eat what's on there". After looking on that menu, every dish on there included butter. Our sever was extreamely sweet and helpful, but the chef obviously was not helpful and did not care to accommodate at all. He just gave me a menu that didn't correlate to my allergens at all.

Just be warned that they have gas lanterns in the dining room. Cool ambiance but wow, they stink! We were originally seated right under one. We were able to move to the end room away from the gas lanterns. The smell is less there. So we could enjoy our meal. The food was delicious and ample. Our server, Genesis, was attentive and friendly. They have a gluten-free menu: mediterranen or Caesar salad; steak, salmon, tilapia, or redfish; shrimp cocktail; Creme brule`.
