The Short Review: Go in and enjoy some good ice cream, but don’t expect good customer service unless you happen to get the owners.
The Good: the ice cream is very fresh and uses minimal ingredients, there are multiple vegan and gluten free flavors every day, I’ve never tried a single ice cream that I didn’t like, the lemon+basil and peach flavors are SO good, the owners are very nice
The Not-So-Good: the two times I’ve gone where it was a cashier other than the owners, the customer service was pretty weird/bad. The first time, it was a college-aged girl and she had closed the doors and mouthed to my friend and I that the shop was closed...but this was 30 minutes before the time posted on the door, so we suspected that she may have just wanted to be done for the night. The second time (just last week), it was a college-aged boy. My family had a birthday reward to use for one free ice cream, but when I showed it to him at the register, he just said “sorry, I don’t know how to do that.” Using that reward before it expired was our entire reason for going there. I then asked if there was any way I could enter my phone number to at least get my points for the purchase, but he said he didn’t know how to do that either. He didn’t offer to call the owners or honor the reward in any way..
