If you order in advance, you can also get gluten-free pizza, which is very tasty.

I have to say in advance that I can't rate the food because I didn't get anything. Here I rate the treatment of guests and the ambience of the restaurant in the Regenstauf sports center. I play tennis weekly and while my teammate was waiting for her order (to take away), I talked to the landlord about his gluten-free pizza alternatives. He informed me that these had to be pre-ordered and cost an additional €3.50. I asked why it was so expensive and he explained that he had to heat up a separate oven for it. Great for anyone who really needs to eat “gluten-free” due to celiac disease. I wanted to let him know that I only eat a reduced gluten diet and that I don't have any allergies, but he suddenly became unfriendly in the conversation. I didn't overestimate it, I did find it strange. The following week I wanted to order a gluten-free pizza from an employee for our next training session. When the lady wanted to take my order, the landlord interrupted, pushed me aside and told me that there was no pizza for me. The reaction came out of the blue for me and the service lady and I walked out of the restaurant together with my fellow players as if I had been shocked. Since I wasn't sure whether I had misunderstood something, or whether it was just strange fun or something similar, I waited a few weeks now, so there would have been time to clarify the situation. There was no clarification, but instead I am no longer greeted when I have to cross the restaurant on the way to training. And that brings me to the ambience of the restaurant. It is divided into two areas. In the next room you can sit a little more quietly, considering that it is a restaurant in a sports complex. It is uncomfortable in the main room, the athletes walk through the bar and there is a restless, uncomfortable atmosphere. The lady who wanted to take my order was very friendly and tried hard, but because of the incident I will be happy when the winter season is over and next season I will play tennis in a different hall. I am not one of those who believe that restaurateurs have to fight for every customer and I treat every employee the way I would like to be treated myself. For me, this is no way to deal with guests and I agree with some of the previous reviewers. I would also like to have the old innkeeper back with his nice team, where we regularly “stopped” after sports.
