I give one star because you can't give zero. Tonight I went to dinner at this place with some friends. They sat us at a table, and we waited for the pizzas (margheritas I add!) for an hour and a half, without anyone coming to tell us anything. Only one waitress apologized for the delay. In addition, when it was time to pay, the owner dared to insult my friend, calling her crazy, just because she asked to split the bill. I should add that pine needles were constantly falling on the table and the pizzas were not good. The gluten-free pizza was frozen. To top it off, the man who made us pay told us to go to hell. Rude! If you find yourself at the Lido di Venezia, I recommend you go elsewhere.

The ambience is truly lovingly designed. The bar is beautifully decorated, the restrooms are clean, and there's a pleasant path to the restroom. A sort of garden leads there. We had a starter for two people, each a pizza and a drink. We had two Primaveras, one gluten-free and one regular. Unfortunately, the gluten-free pizza wasn't that good. It's made with ready-made dough, and the toppings weren't what we expected. The same was true for the regular Primavera. The food was okay, but I expect more for an Italian pizza. The service was okay, but limited to the bare essentials.
