The food is pretty good and the service is fantastic! The place looks lovely both inside and out. They serve excellent Greek food in a shop that feels like it’s straight out of Greece, complete with Greek music. There are plenty of gluten-free options available. Ceoliac Aware The staff are very aware of gluten intolerance. I’m definitely planning to return.

So, I have coeliac disease and generally very used to places that aren’t accommodating. I wanted to order the souvlaki plate (comes with salad or chips and pita bread) and first asked the waitstaff if the souvlaki itself is gluten free. They went to their manager who said “yeah and the pork is halal”. Some racist sarcasm. Weird crack but ok, sure. I then asked if they could replace the pita with hot chips (gluten free according to the menu) and was told to remove the pita slices off the plate myself. Come to Parea if you’re hungry for sarcastic racism. Pairs well with a glass of full-bodied ignorance.
