Parioli Italian Bistro

My wife is Italian, born and raised not just in Rome, Italy, but specifically in the area of the city known as Parioli. Just for this reason we decided to give this place a try. To be truthful, my wife's such an awesome cook, finding a restaurant we like is next to impossible, especially if it's Italian. Parioli Italian Bistro, however, was a joyous surprise. We started with the burrata, which was delicious. My wife is Celiac (i.e. can't eat anything with gluten, even contamination is a problem) and her spaghetti with clams was wonderful. I had the eggplant parmesan, which was spectacular. For dessert we shared a gelato, which was reminiscent of the gelato we eat when we visit my parents-in-law in Rome. Besides the great food, the price was very reasonable and the service was first rate. Hands down I HIGHLY recommend Parioli Italian Bistro. We will definitely be going back.

We love this little intimate restaurant. Tucked into the side of Highway 1 you might drive right past if you don’t keep an eye out for it! Love that they have gluten free pasta options! Tonight was the gf penne with capers, olives and tomatoes for me. Lasagne for Dan. Pizza was fantastic too!!
