Gluten-free, light breakfast. The steamed vegetables themselves are delicious, and the degree of steaming is also good.
Gargantua only opens from 10am, so there aren't many options for a light breakfast near the hotel.
Kyoto has quite a few long-established bakeries and cafes that open at 8 a.m., so you can take an early morning walk and enjoy freshly baked bread, but mornings in Tokyo are slow.
