The food is amazing, with a truly unique take on doughnuts that’s hard to find anywhere else. The drinks are also top-notch.
That said, if you're going through the drive thru, read this; When paying with a card, they hand back the pin pad with an 18% tip already selected, without mentioning it, and just say, "I just need a signature on this." In a rushed drive-thru setting, it’s easy to overlook, which makes it feel like the employee is just trying to sneak in a tip. This has happened to me twice now with two separate employees.
I don’t mind tipping for table service, but what exactly am I tipping for in a drive-thru anyways? Besides, if they want to add an 18% service charge, they should be upfront about it instead of quietly pre-selecting a tip and hoping no one notices.
Edit: Went again despite my better judgement due to them having gluten free options for a friend of mine. Fun fact, they don’t make them everyday. Why the hell would you offer them then? Kinda sucked to bring a group here and have one single person not be able to eat anything.
This place continues to disappoint in places they really can’t.
