Parlor Doughnuts

Stopped in on Sunday on the way home from camping. We ordered 6 gluten free donuts to go. The box seriously was so heavy which I should have thought something was off from that. The donuts were cold and were completely dense and rock hard. They crumbled like sand. Worse gf donuts I’ve ever experienced. We’ve been to a different location and they were good so I’m not sure what went wrong here.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ We were excited to try Parlor Doughnuts while visiting Pawleys Island, especially because they offer gluten-free options. Unfortunately, the gluten-free doughnuts didn’t quite hit the mark for us. They were dense, oddly dry yet wet at the same time, and just didn’t resemble a doughnut in taste or texture. At $21 for four, it felt like a miss—especially since I ended up tossing mine. That said, they were sweet enough that my kids still enjoyed theirs. I will say the staff was friendly, and the shop had a nice atmosphere. I’ve heard great things about the regular doughnuts, so I’m sure those are worth trying if you’re not gluten-free. Just wanted to share our experience in case you’re specifically looking for a good GF treat.
