Passion Boutique Hotel Zanzibar - Adults Only

I don't write reviews that often, but this time it just has to be. This hotel is a jewel in Jambiani, it feels like home from the very first minute. This is due to the boutique character (the hotel only has 8 rooms) and the lovely staff (especially Madalina, fantastic customer relations management). The facilities are very well maintained, the rooms are in top condition, the breakfast is ala carte and very tasty. Every request is catered for (gluten-free food, money exchange, organisation of dinner in another restaurant, and much more). There are a few very good restaurants nearby, and the neighbouring town of Page has a lively nightlife and everything you need for shopping. And all this at an absolutely fair price! We absolutely recommend it, we will definitely be back.

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Everything is thought out till the last detail. It is also brand new and all the interior and exterior are well maintained and sparkling clean. We stayed in the room with the extra space and the bath tub (don't remember the name of the suit) and it was definitely worth the extra splurge. The space is amazing and very romantic for a couple. Keep in mind that the shower and bathtub are in the same area with the bedroom, so it isn't suitable for friends traveling together. We needed to ask for an extra blanket as there was only a sheet provided for the bed, but it was not issue at all. The breakfast was freshly made from a breakfast menu which we loved (we are not fans of buffet breakfasts....) and the restaurant was very accommodating with my special gluten free diet. They serve a lovely menu with everything freshly made and daily specials according to the catch of the day. The only thing which took us a bit of a getting used to was the general pole pole attitude at the restaurant :) meaning that orders took a little while to come even when no-one else was there. With all this we loved our servers especially Glory and George, they were all lovely and accommodating.
