This place very much deserves the high praise that it gets. The cappuccinos are delicious and creamy, and the selection of gluten free pastries is very impressive. They had savory sandwiches, croissants, croissants with cream, chocolate croissants, and a longer pastry with cream in the middle on top, among a couple others that I can't recall. Their gluten free pastries are in a separate case to the left and were very visually appealing.
I got a cream croissant and a chocolate croissant, and the texture was out of this world, especially for someone who is Celiac and has limited breakfast/dessert options. The croissants were tender, flaky, and so tasty! I've never had anything that tender and flaky in the United States.
Even though they were busy, the staff were wonderfully charming and friendly. I felt very welcomed and appreciated as a customer. If I ever come back to Florence, this place will be at the top of my list to visit again!
