We were big fans of Pastini before they closed for an extended time, so we were thrilled when they reopened. We order takeout dinner which was ready about the time I got there, so I appreciated that. However, I ordered the braised short rib ravioli which was watery and greasy. My daughter ordered the gluten free version of the braised short rib ravioli which ended up being some sauce over (I'm assuming) gluten free penne. None of the filling associated with the braised short rib ravioli was included. So we paid the full $24 to get a meatless gluten free penne with some sauce on it. And $8 for a really tiny side Caesar salad. Pretty disappointed. The young woman who greeted me at the front desk was nice, so a few stars for service. But I'm underwhelmed with the food. It makes me wonder if the pasta is frozen and just heated at the shop before served. Or made offsite and boiled at the shop. Pretty spendy for a not very satisfactory meal.
