Follow-up review after a serious gluten incident that my family experienced at Pawpaw. When I published my original review sharing how two coeliac members of our family got served fully glutened meals (not just slightly contaminated, but meals FULL of gluten) after very elaborate instructions on their allergies, I had a member of PawPaw's team respond and ask to send the email with booking details, meals ordered, etc - saying that they will take this very seriously and follow-up to understand how this happened. And so I emailed them. It's been OVER a month and even after another follow-up email on my part - there has been NO response, NO acknowledgement from their part, that they received the information, that they are going to investigate it or have looked into this so this doesn't happen again to someone else. Our family members are STILL suffering dire consequences of their incompetency / oversight. I DO NOT recommend going there if you have a serious allergy, because they clearly don't give a damn.

Nice staff, and very gluten free aware which was a bonus. Curry was lovely

If you have any allergy (especially, a gluten allergy / if you're a coeliac), DO NOT go in there - they DO NOT handle it well. Our family booked a table for lunch, and two of the family members - coeliacs - got *severely* sick right after it. So it wasn't just mildly contaminated, it was a major mess-up. It was reiterated *multiple times* to the waitress that it was an allergy. So it's either the waitress was completely incompetent and didn't end up recording the order right despite all, or the chef didn't care to take proper protocols. Either way, do not trust them to take care of your food allergies.
