Came here for an early lunch while Christmas shopping in Liverpool. Was welcomed by a really nice waitress who showed me to my table. The café was very clean with pleasing modern decor and lots of greenery. Great views of the dock from the window tables. A choice of seating from wooden tables and benches to soft leather sofas. My one niggle is that the room felt rather cold. Did not have to wait long for my meal despite it being fairly busy. And what an extensive menu, offering breakfasts, sandwiches, salads and hot meals. Some really creative and unusual dishes and plenty of choice for vegetarians and vegans as well as gluten-free options. There's also a good selection of drinks including cocktails, wine, ale and hot beverages. Opted for the Peaberry Breakfast and it was a good choice: piping hot and very filling, lovely thick slices of sourdough toast, good quality bacon and sausage, and the eggs were cooked just right. Treated myself to one of their breakfast tipples. The Kir Royale (Prosecco, Chambord and raspberry) was a tangy and very refreshing accompaniment to my meal. All in all a satisfying brunch and not too expensive.
