Pepe and Lela's Eatery

This place is absolutely amazing. I have Celiac and there are SO many gluten-free options! My absolute favorite is the crispy fried fish tacos. The staff is very knowledgeable and super friendly and this place has turned into my favorite restaurant in the city. All of the margaritas are amazing but their hibiscus is by far the best one. You could order anything and not be disappointed here.

This was our third time dining at Pepe and Lela's. It did not disappoint. From the moment you walk in and until you leave, it is an excellent experience. All of the staff are friendly and very welcoming. It's a great place for both families and date nights to large celebrations. We were served by Amanda. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and has incredibly warm personality with a great sense of humour. Amanda really connects well with the diners. We had the Ontario strawberry margarita and the house chips with guacamole to start. The margarita was so fresh and flavourful as was the guacamole. We split the chicken mole and crispy fish tacos. Both were bursting with amazing layers of flavour. We ended off the night with the lime and toasted coconut pie with coffee and espresso. I agreed to have a bite of the pie and let my husband have the rest. It turned into many delicious bites. The presentation of the pie is gorgeous as are all the different flavours. I highly recommend you make a reservation and experience this absolute gem of a restaurant. I'm going to bring our kiddos over the summer because they are celiac and there's so many gf options.
