Pepenero is in my top 2 restaurants in TC. Food is amazing! Love the steak tartar appetizer among every other dish I've ever had. Tried the chicken with mushroom polenta this time (even though I rarely order chicken at a restaurant) and it was the best chicken I've ever had. So delicious. It's such a nice ambiance inside and staff is all super friendly and helpful. Brad was our server and he's amazing! Helped me decipher the menu in terms of what's gluten free and had great recommendations and he was so kind and attentive. Love this place! Give it a try! In my opinion it's an easy pick over the other italian restaurant next door. 😉

Absolutely incredible dining experience! We shared the Tagliere Italiano to start—amazing mix of meats and cheeses. My husband’s lamb was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and my linguine with shrimp, lobster, and clams was beyond words—just perfect. Our server Stefan was attentive and recommended the perfect wine pairing, and the chef even stopped by to check on us. We finished with their gluten-free tiramisu (made by the chef’s wife!) and cappuccinos. Fantastic food, wonderful service, and such a warm atmosphere. Highly recommend!

This restaurant may well have the best food I've eaten anywhere ! The focaccia was heavenly, and the mushroom bisque was heavenly! My husband is a celiac, and they had many delicious options. He was actually able to eat tiramisu for the first time in 20 years! The service was impeccable, and the restaurant was beautiful. The prices aren't cheap, but the food is worth it. I highly recommend this restaurant without any reservation!
