The redeeming quality of this cafe was the food.
The rustic country atmosphere is actually just old and thrown together.
The facilities are sub-standard, toilets are across the road in the LIA in a separate venue - Embarrassing!
Half an hour waiting for a pie and a piece of pre-made quiche to be served was annoying halfway through a very long road trip.
If these waiting times had been mentioned at the time of entry or placing orders, it is unlikely we would have wasted so much time, which in turn would have caused less stress to get to our destination quickly.
This issue was dismissed by Cafe staff flippantly, which compounded my disappointment.
The gluten-free pastry of the savoury mince pot pie and the salad served with the quiche were outstanding.
Not worth the time and expense.
