Celiacs, don't go! My family and I went to Pepino this weekend. Before entering, we asked if they had options for my 4-year-old daughter, who suffers from celiac disease. They told us they had a lot of options; we were happy and surprised by the variety! They brought the sandwich for my daughter, and after a while, my husband and I were skeptical about the bread because it looked exactly the same as the rest and the taste "didn't seem gluten-free." When we asked, the waiter took it away so we could ask. A long time later, they brought us the same plate, saying it was indeed gluten-free, so we shouldn't worry. When we grabbed the plate, we realized they had changed the bread and had faked my daughter's bites. IT'S AWESOME TO PLAY WITH A CHILD'S HEALTH LIKE THAT! So much helplessness and anger.
