Peppermill Cafe Standale

SO GOOD. This spot is a great if you’re looking for classic diner vibes with really good food. The waitresses are friendly, fast, and to the point. It’s got that cozy, no-frills charm that makes you feel right at home. We got a mix of coffees, apple juice, the garden omelette with egg whites, eggs and toast, and the supreme omelette—which definitely lived up to the name. Huge portions, lots of flavor, and they were super accommodating of my food allergies. Big plus: they offer a wide selection of breads, including gluten-free options, and hella hot sauce options. Breakfast and lunch are served all day, which is a win, and even when it’s busy, they move quickly and efficiently to get you seated.

My husband and I stopped on our way home from staying downtown due to the fact it had gluten free options and I have Celiac. It was wonderful. A real hometown feel inside, good food, friendly staff and, I got to use a really cool coffee mug (I'm all about it).
