Back in Houston, we frequented both the cinco ranch and memorial city locations. We were excited to return to Perry’s after being away two years and opted to bring my parents to celebrate Mother’s Day and their anniversary. I made reservations and upon arrival, were seated promptly. After that things started to go down hill. To begin, we were seated in this small back room where a bunch of people crammed while the main room was wide open. I get we were all early, but that room should be an overflow room and not where all the 4pm reservations are crammed. The atmosphere was Terrible. You could hear multiple comments on the size of the room when people would come in. There also were gnats flying everywhere. Not like 1 annoying one but as many as 12 around our table. Server was great. They were attentive to my gluten allergy. Lobster was undercooked, my husband and I ended up with each other steaks but neither was a steak that should cost $70. Although they did comp our dessert, the overall experience was sub-par compared to the other Perry’s we’ve visited. Seriously, for $350 ticket, I’d like there to be no bugs attacking my food.
