Persis Biryani Indian Grill is hands down one of the best places in Cedar Rapids. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced from the biryani to the curries, naan, and appetizers, every single dish is delicious. Portion sizes are generous and great value for the price. The staff are warm, attentive, and make you feel truly welcome. The restaurant is clean, inviting, and has a pleasant atmosphere whether you’re dining in or taking out. What I love most is that they cater to everyone — whether you want vegetarian, non-vegetarian, or gluten-free options, there’s always something tasty and authentic to enjoy. This was our first time having Indian food, it was amazing. Perfect balance of flavors and wonderful spice! Great vegetarian and gluten free options. There is even a kids menu with plain chicken nuggets for my picky, unadventurous eater.
