Pesco

Elizabeth is SO sweet and SO kind, and Pesco’s food is absolutely insane!! Elizabeth even gave us free samples of all the sauces and free slices of bread to try (which was so so good). You must try this food stand!! Also, the Italian wheat Elizabeth uses is safe to eat for gluten sensitive folks, even my friend who is extremely sensitive to gluten is able to eat all her bread and pasta with no problem! Seriously, give it a try :)

I enjoyed several wonderful meals at Pesco during my first week back in The Hood. Chef Elizabeth is serving delicious authentic Italian, cooked with love. The Caponata is as good as I've had anywhere. The gluten-free chickpea fritters are fluffy and delicious, especially with Elizabeth's homemade seasoned mayo. The Arborio rice balls with the meat sauce centers are also a treat. The swordfish was seasoned beautifully, the pastas cooked perfectly and served in authentic inter generational tomato sauces.
