Pete's Frootique & Fine Foods

I find Pete's Frootique amazing. Especially for Foreign foods needed for recipes. I was served by a man named Dev who helped me find an item I wasn't sure was in the store. He was very efficient and if an item was short or not available at that time to contact the store prior. I find the people at the Halifax store very kind and helpful! When it comes to Gluten Free, I usually purchase from Pete's.

It's so disappointing that a specialty grocery and lunch spot in the centre of a busy metropolitan area has zero (z-e-r-o) gluten free options available other than frozen or dried grocery goods. Beautiful lunch counters here with absolutely nothing. Every time I go I hope that someone there has come to their senses but get the same answer "No gluten free" or "I don't know". What a waste of space.
