Petite Pancakes

Lovely place for pancakes and shakes. Also, gluten-free options are available.

Decided to try Petite Pancakes today and thought it was outstanding. The decor lends itself to the feel of a tea room, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I didn't think so many options would be available with a pancake theme, but I was proven wrong. There is a superb choice of both sweet and savoury pancake fillings, I went with salmon and cream cheese and was not disappointed. If you have any intolerances or dietary needs they cater for gluten free, dairy free, vegan, keto etc, and they take it seriously with labels for allergy dishes stuck on the plate or written on the napkin of drinks so you know you and not being served something mistakenly. The selection of teas on offer was superb and with the option of sizes from a cup to a 3 cup pot which for us tea drinkers is a rare thing to see nowdays and something I think is often overlooked. The food was delicious, well presented and arrived quickly despite it being busy, it was sensibly priced for the size and quality, as were the drinks. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place or go back again myself. This is the kind of business that Stowmarket needs to bring itself up in the world, the owners should be proud and the locals should support it instead of of Costa or Gregg's.
