We love Pi Social. Their gluten free crust is perfect, and the service always rocks. We went for the loaded queso Blanco, which wasn't available due to the brunch menu, so the pizza was a fine substitution.

Pi Social has potential, but our visit missed the mark. Service was mediocre—our server was new and it showed. The biggest frustration came when our pizza arrived before we had any plates. We asked the two staff members who brought the food, but they disappeared, and we eventually had to flag down the manager to get some. The food was a mixed bag. The hand-stretched pizza was the highlight—cheesy with big, crispy chunks of pancetta. The gluten-free crust, however, was floppy, and the Hawaiian toppings were pretty basic. The boneless buffalo wings were disappointing—just frozen nuggets tossed in buffalo sauce. I’d be willing to give it another try, but this visit definitely left room for improvement!

We were really looking forward to this because my wife and I both eat gluten free. First, the gluten free tortellini and the gluten free pizza crust were very good. That’s about the extent of our positives. We sat on the patio with the dog and were eaten alive by mosquitos and swarmed by flies. They had small fans for the tables and flies (bugs happen, I get it) but the majority of the fans didn’t work and ours stopped halfway through dinner. They weren’t replaced when they stopped working. We ordered a salad and weren’t told they would be substituting major ingredients. We asked the manager and he just apologized and took the full salad back to the kitchen and we still had to pay full price for it. Our server was the biggest issue. She couldn’t answer any of our questions regarding the gluten free items on the menu, disappeared for long stretches of time, sighed and huffed whenever tables asked for items, bizarrely kept setting down our drinks directly into the fly fans, tried to give our credit card to another table and to be completely candid we were unsure if she was potentially intoxicated. It was just a very strange and frustrating experience.
