We recently discovered this little gem by chance. Some close friends held their wedding there, and to say we were impressed is an understatement.
For a start it's a cool place, from the casual high tables, to the restaurant which feels comfortable and intimate. The walls are lined with bottles of Spanish wine which almost drag you over to read their labels, and entice you to order them. Being a fan of industrial style, I loved the open ceiling so make sure you take a look up, as the bare joists hold another whole chapter of wine bottles (empty) that have been part of many great meals held there no doubt.
Now to the food. I am am coeliac and did panic a bit that I hadn't informed the brides of my dietary requirements. Well there was no need to worry, as Graham the owner conjured up no end of gluten free delights for me, that even my partner was jealous of (and those coeliacs amongst us can back me up on the fact that no one is EVER jealous of the GF option)......well, till now.
Course after course was delicious, and carefully thought out. It's good, no sorry.....GREAT Spanish fare. Incredibly tasty, restaurant quality but with that great sense of humbleness that Spanish food has. We rolled out of the place (also might have had something to do with those amazing wines), and didn't stop talking about how much we loved it after. So much so, we are heading back tonight for dinner.
Please do yourself a favour and check this place out, it's well worth it.
