Outstanding food and wine, with plenty of gluten- and dairy-free alternatives that don't take away at all from the core flavours of the dish. I avoid carbs usually but I was not about to miss out on these gnocchi (and I was not disappointed). What sets this place apart is the service. Staff seemed pleased to see each other and were always on hand to ensure our special occasion went smoothly. We were allowed to taste wines (all beautiful) to ensure we enjoyed what we would order. The owner, Keiran, was ever present with a beaming smile. Of all the wonderful restaurants in Cairns, Piccolo Cucina will continue to be our restaurant of choice for special occasions.

Delicious vegan gluten free options! I had the penne arrabbiata gluten free penne and sides! The portions were prodigious. The big friendly host, wait staff and service were exceptional.
