Pickles Authentic New York Delicatessen

Pickles never disappoints! So many options! I’m one of those gotta try em all kind of guys, but the wife gets the same thing EVERY time (the Yuppie), which admittedly is delicious. Also, great for the gluten free folks in our family. Some of the best GF bread around! The staff is always friendly and they’ve added some nice shade to their outdoor seating area, but it’s still July in FL…so you won’t catch me out there for another couple months!

If you have a gluten or other allergy, visit at your own risk. The food here is tasty, fresh, and quick. However, after coming in to order in person and explaining multiple times that someone in our party has a severe gluten allergy, we were excited to eat at a place that offered gluten free bread. Upon receiving our order, after a few bites we realized that there was a pasta noodle on the bottom of the gluten free sandwich. No one in our party ordered anything with pasta in it. We brought the sandwich to the counter and informed the server, and it was remade, but unfortunately the damage was done and the person in our party with the gluten allergy was already becoming sick. If you don’t have any allergies, the food is great. However, allergen cross contamination should be taken more seriously here.
