Picnic Whistler & Deli

Super disappointed. I came in yesterday asking about gluten free bread and was told the freezer was broken and to come back tomorrow. I asked if I should order immediately and pick up the next day to make sure I could get a sandwich and she assured me that it was unnecessary and that they would for sure be there for me to get a sandwich the next day at 430. Today, I showed up at 430 and the door said closed. I tried to call and asked what happened and she said they got a last minute catering order and could be back in 20 minutes but that I couldn't order anything because they already turned everything off for the day and wouldn't be turning it back on. Super sucked because I told her when I was coming today and was right on time, and I definitely could've made other arrangements had she not promised me it wouldn't be necessary and now I'm just stuck. So really disappointed by the service.

Came here this morning with our family! Me my son and nephew are gluten free! My son 6 year old said mom best grilled cheese…absolutely loved it! He still is talking about this evening haha My gluten free sandwich was also awesome! Customer service and kindness from the gentlemen was great! Will definitely come back here when in Whistler next! Thank you!
