Pie Tap Pizza Workshop + Bar Frisco

Fantastic food and service! Very attentive staff, especially Eli, our waiter. We ordered both gluten free and regular crust, both were amazing! My 2 year old grandson came with us and they brought his food out first without even asking. He devoured all of his macaroni & cheese which is rare everywhere else. Their made from scratch ranch dressing is superb. Typically homemade ranch, while very tasty, makes my grandson break out in a rash around his mouth so we had to stop giving it to him when we went out to eat. We decided to let him try Pie Tap’s version, and not only did he love it, but he had no rash whatsoever when we left. We were thrilled and so was he! We will definitely be back!!

I am sitting at the bar with my husband as I write this. The situation here is ridiculous. The bartender Jill has a huge frown on her face and is arguing with a waiter who is obviously trying to help her. We arrived at 8:45 and both bartenders are SOLELY focused on breaking down the bar and getting out of here. After a LONG wait she finally asked us what we want to drink. I realized that we better order fast because she obviously does not want to be here. I asked if they still had the sweet potato pizza crust and she said they have never that and only have gluten free regular. Shortly after we ordered a waiter asked her a question about my order and she gave him the middle finger. Then - and this is truly ridiculous- she left the bar to sign for a food delivery - a smoothie, which she is eating in front of us. Isn't that a health code violation? The bar is an absolute disaster. There are dirty glasses everywhere. People left before we got here and their dirty plates are still on the bar top. 5 minutes have passed and the dirty glasses and plates are still there. I think the manager is staring at the TV watching a basketball game. HE IS COMPLETELY OBLIVIOUS. Jill just same by to tell me that the kitchen messed up my order which she just knew they would because I ordered olive oil based sauce and mushroom pizza (which is on the menu). My husbands pizza just arrived and the plates are wet and dirty but he cleaned my plate for me. Last time we were here the bartender was amazing. I wish I could remember her name! My food just arrived to so I am going to eat. GOOD LUCK
