Pies on Post - A Social Eatery

The gluten free crusts are standard, but there is no help for really avoiding cross contamination. I went with a Cobb Salad because the crusts have tapioca starch. The presentation was beautiful. Crumbled bacon, Gorgonzola, hard boiled eggs, two chicken breast on top of sliced steak. The top piece of grilled chicken was excellent. The steak was raw. (!) As in seared and raw and cold on the inside. Not warm pink, but cold, red, and gel like. It was as already sliced, meaning the person in the kitchen fully didn’t notice. I reported it and decide to work around it. I go the second piece of grilled chicken and cut it up, I questioned two cuts but figured it was because I was slicing it on salad greens. Nope, the chicken was pink, gooey, and uncooked. Again, pre-sliced in big portions. I sent it all back. I asked the young girl, blonde/brown with nose ring if she informed someone and she said the manager wasn’t working so she’d text him about it.

I never do reviews but I can’t help myself this time. I LOVED this place when it first opened. That said I will NEVER return. We got take out. Ordered the portobello sandwich without the bun, cant have gluten and the Mediterranean salad. I can’t eat the fries because my stomach can’t tolerate the oil they cook them in. The portobello was nonexistent I called them to ask them where it was. It wasn’t stuffed with anything! The Mediterranean salad was mixed green w a TON of olives and roasted red peppers as filler and I mean filler was just thrown on top of the portobello to I guess hide the fact it looks nothing like a stuffed portobello! The staff is nice. The location is decent. I’m completely disappointed with what Pies has become.
