Pilgrims Gelateria

Knowledgable about coeliac disease and asked if I was a coeliac when I had questioned which ice creams were gluten free. All made from gluten free oats. Used a clean scoop and used a fresh part of the gelato to scoop from.

Was initially delighted to find vegan and gluten free ice cream but totally disappointed when we tasted it. My husband had Blue sea flavour( salted vanilla). This was absolutely tasteless, did not taste of salt or vanilla, in fact it was totally tasteless. I has millionaire shortbread which had the potential of tasting of caramel chocolate and shortbread,- again it had no taste at all, if tasting blind I could not have identified a single flavour. Will never again buy a pilgrim ice cream

As someone who is intolerant to dairy and gluten, it is normally a complete headache to try and get a decent ice cream anywhere. I was expecting the same walking in to yet another ice cream shop. However no, not this time! I was told everything there was gluten and dairy free... literally had to scrape my jaw off the floor! Fantastic service, the ice cream tasted delicious and I couldn't recommend Pilgrims Gelatos more... 😍😍😍 Just one plea...can you open up more shops like this around the country? 🙏
