Pink Lotus brunswick heads

I am always so happy with the food and service here. I came in the other day and tried their special which was a ‘Karaage barramundi vermicelli noodle bowl’ It absolutely blew my mind. So delicious! Super fresh and perfect balance of flavours. The barramundi was cooked to perfection. It came with a very lovely lemongrass and mayonnaise sauce. I hope they add it to their every day menu. The pho and curries are also great. They cater really well for gluten-free options too. Even the Karaage barramundi was gluten-free!

It’s been a while since I came back to Brunswick Heads. But, to then also discover Vietnamese food right in the heart of town & next to the river is a huge excitement for me. Always in search for a great banh mi, I was so impressed with their roast pork banh mi filled with authentic toppings that one would expect in a baguette. On top of that, I also saw on the menu the vast variety of gluten & vegan options that I know will cater well for the community here. So much choice, even a kids menu. They have thought of it all. I got myself a roast pork roll, some spring rolls & rice paper rolls. I washed this down with a cold coconut drink. Where can you get this in an eatery these days let alone in BH’s? I wanted to order one of everything off the vast menu they had for such a cute place. Wow, wow….The restaurant is tucked in a corner & you can sit outside with a view to the river. I found out from the friendly owners that it's the little sister restaurant of Pink Lotus Eatery in Mullumbimby.
