I waited in line for just under 2 hours ... And I would have happily waited much longer. The atmosphere while waiting was very fun with music playing, the smell of barbeque, and families playing in the park. I have celiac disease and did not get sick eating here. They said their meats are all gluten free and their sides are as well, with the exception of the bread and Mac n cheese. I got the pork ribs, brisket, coleslaw, and jalepeño cheese rice. I've eaten a lot of BBQ but none like this. The meat was so tender you could easily cut it with a plastic fork. I live in Utah and honestly I would come to San Antonio again just for this BBQ.

Being from Kansas City, we had to check out a Texas BBQ place to compare. Let’s just say Pinkerton’s did not disappoint. The glazed pork ribs were fall-off-the-bone amazing. Burnt ends of the brisket were delicious, and best of all, almost everything was gluten free which is important to us because of a child with Celiac disease. If you’re in San Antonio, this is definitely a must for BBQ!
