Pinocchios Casual Italian

It was mediocre.... nothing exceptional. We had the eggplant parmesan, the lasagna, meatballs and a calzone. The eggplant parmesan was mostly breading and not much eggplant. The meatballs tasted like frozen meatballs from Sam's Club, nothing like homemade. The sauce was decent and they do have gluten free pasta. I wouldn't bother with this place, too many other options close by.

Beyond frustrated! We ordered pizza not knowing the restaurant would close early. They called to tell me and said to call back Tuesday to get a refund. Called Tuesday and the person took my card info and said the refund had processed. I noticed Thursday the charge hadn’t been reversed. I called back and was told there was no manager on duty. They took my name and number and said someone would call me. I got no call back. Called Saturday and was told they couldn’t reverse the charge because it was ordered through a third party. I was told the owner was the only one who could help and was given her number. I called her the same day and left a detailed message. Later on Saturday night we decided to see if we could just reorder the food we had tried to order the week prior and they were out of the crust for two of the pizzas. They said they would get a shipment Monday and to call back Tuesday when they were open again to order the food. I called Tuesday during posted hours of operation and no one answered. I even went to the restaurant and they were closed. No one ever called me back. Its been 11 days with no food, no refund and no return call. l finally called the bank to dispute the charge. I’m so disappointed. I’ve been patient and kind and would’ve been a repeat customer. I even recommended this place to a group of people who are also gluten free because it was seriously the best pizza I’ve ever had. Good customer service can go a long way and a return call or refund really wasn’t asking much.
