One pie in and I think we’ve found our new go-to takeout pizza. We got the eggplant pie and wow, were we impressed. Excellent crust (flavorful, perfect gluten structure), perfect bake, and keen attention to detail with the toppings—the fried eggplant was delicate and crispy, and the basil and parm finish was such a nice touch. Might have liked a little more sauce but I am a sauce lover, and it was still fabulous as is. Would also admit when ordering it seemed a few bucks more than I typically like to pay, but my level of satisfaction is through the roof. After so many truly disappointing pizzas in town I will gladly pay a little more for it to be consistently this good! Also, the place itself is so inviting and has such a great atmosphere I’m definitely getting myself lunch sometime soon. If their other pizzas and menu items share the same quality, then Pipinelli’s is sure to become a local favorite in no time.
