Pitango Bakery + Cafe

Cute cafe right on the water in Fell’s. I’ve had a cappuccino, latte, and black coffee from here and all have been good! They get their coffee from Vigilante (if anyone’s familiar). It’s a popular spot so usually there’s a lengthy line/wait, but there’s ample indoor + outdoor seating. Overall good spot to grab some coffee! I’ve also heard the food is better than most but I’ve never tried it personally. They also have a few gluten free pastry offerings!

I'm not sure how this place got a 1 star from me. Must have been a pocket staring. So, I will actually give a review. This place was packed on a Sunday. I couldn't eat much on the menu because I am gluten free (they do have salads. I just wasn't in the mood). I did get a cookie that was about 2 inches by 2 inches for about $3.50 and a caffeine free tea for about $4. The WiFi didn't work for us and a few people around us. The guess was: there were too many people on it. There seemed to be a lot of college students working. One of the guys there reset the Internet for us but it still didn't work. Customer service was great though! My friend ordered a veggie sandwich on what looked to be focaccia bread. It looked amazing and messy but she said the eggplant was undercooked. Dogs are allowed in. There were a few sitting at tables and I happen to be allergic so that was weird. There was also a friendly little bird cleaning the floor. All in all cute but too crowded for me and not enough choices at a decent price. I won't be suggesting this place as a study spot for us again but my friend probably will so I am likely to be back. Maybe I'll try a salad and update my review.
