Booked a table for 7:45 it's was rammed! At the entrance, there was no real order to how people were being qued outside. We were ignored by the waiter at the front door, who could see we were waiting. After some time, we were told to join the ques as they had pre booked tables.
Services was not great, we asked the waiter which drinks could be used with the in-app voucher, and his response was "I don't know" and continued to stand looking at us.
The food was tasty and came fairly quick. One of our party was celiac, and the meal came out with an olive on it. When questioned, the staff said this is how they distinguished an intolerance. This is something we had never had in previous pizza express visits. The chef kindly made another gluten-free meal fresh from the oven.
The WiFi in the restaurant did not work, and we were told to go outside to try and get the app to take payment for the meal.
There was a lack of physical cash available as the app would not take payment.
When we asked for a physical paper bill, due to issues with the app and payment. We were told they had received payment........again, we asked for a copy of the bill.
In all honesty this would not make me want to return here.
