Pizza Express

Firstly, I would just like to say that our waitress always had a smile on her face and was helpful with providing a member of our party with the gluten free options. However, the rest of my evening wasn’t particularly great. A few minutes after everyone else received their meals I was approached and told mine was going to be another 5 minutes as it was overcooked, this didn’t come until 10 minutes later when the rest of our party had either finished or was close to finishing. The waitress didn’t once come over and ask whether everything was ok with our food and had to be reminded to get us the water we had requested earlier. Then for dessert, the chocolate fudge cake was burnt, the sauce had turned to a crisp and the cake was crunchy. It was very disappointing. Lastly, when taking my 4 year old to the toilet it became apparent that there was no soap in any of the dispensers. Overall, it was a disappointing evening sadly.

Good food with good coeliac options. Had an enjoyable time with friends and family.
