I've always loved eating at Pizza Express (it was my first time eating at this branch). Unfortunately, during our last visit, the Pollo Pesto Pasta was extremely undercooked. The pasta was really hard and tasted almost like starch. I told the server and we were informed that it was al dente and it has always been cooked that way because it's "gluten-free", and if a customer wants it to be cooked, they would have to cook it for 15 minutes. He also mentioned that it's been done that way for about 3 years now. If that was the case, I believe we should have been informed prior. I know what al dente is and that definitely wasn't it. Additionally, I've always ordered Pollo Pesto Pasta from different branches of Pizza Express and none of those that I've had are that undercooked. Extremely disappointed.
