Ula was most amazing! Showed me how to use the rewards app. Recommended new Gluten free base and explained the difference. Truly great experience for solo dining!

Sat in for a lovely dinner and was served by the delightful Steven. The food was delicious and Steven was so helpful and as a gluten free customer he made me feel comfortable and talked me through all the best options for me. Will definitely come back. Thank you to Steven and all the staff here.

So disappointed with our visit a few days ago. Fjrstly I'd just like to say that the staff were really friendly so that was a definite positive and the young lady who served us was very helpful. Our first issue came about when we arrived at the restaurant. We had some Tesco vouchers to put towards the bill. However whilst waiting to be shown to our table we saw a piece of paper on the wall saying that these aren't accepted at the minute - assuming because the Edinburgh Festival is on. There is no mention of this on the website so it would have been nice to know in advance. I'm not sure of the reasoning behind this but I can only guess it's a money-making exercise. The quality of the food in comparison with the price really isn't acceptable. The photo attached shows the gluten free pizza I paid £14 for. Hardly any cheese on it - was essentially just a paper thin tasteless base with tomato sauce on it. Similarly with our other pizzas - hardly any cheese and the additional toppings we paid for were pretty minimal. After our food, we ordered two teas and were pretty shocked to have a half cup served to us at a cost of £3.45 (photo attached). It was actually laughable!! Not even a teapot between us. When we asked for some additional hot water it was served to us in a milk jug. At that point we just gave up. Not a great experience when you're paying £75. Won't be returning and certainly wouldn't recommend. It's a real shame as we've used this restaurant since it opened, but you can definitely get more for your money elsewhere.
