Pizza Hut Restaurants Castleford

I’m normally a big fan of Pizza Hut as they do an excellent vegan pizza and can cater for our gluten-free requirements as a family, however despite specifying that my daughter was coeliac they carried her order out with another plate wedged on top with a gluten based pizza on it. Cross contamination has clearly been ignored in their allergen training. The salad bar was not fully topped up, so there were the dregs of the lettuce left over for the salad and they seem to have done away with the raisins which is an unbelievable faux pas. Paired with the fact that they have stopped doing the vegan pepperoni that made a really good addition to their menu and it was a little disappointing compared to other restaurants prior to an apparent menu change. Saying this, they were good at getting us seated and the staff were friendly enough and gave the kids crayons etc, so all the normal stuff you’d associate with PizzaHut except without the polish.

Excellent experience here today. They had run out of GF pizza bases, but did everything they could to cater for my Coeliac wife and provided her and us with an excellent meal. Great service, thank you.
