Pizza Nova

I totally recommend this place, their pizzas are not burned or greasy. I'm so grateful for the plant-based and gluten free options! The plant-based pepperoni is really good. My favorite pizza shop in the area!

We ordered a Gluten-Free pizza with some toppings. The lady at the cash desk was a little confused by that so one of the food handlers / chef's was called. He rung it up and then told us it was cash only as the card machine was not working. We told him we don't do cash so he produced a wireless card terminal which we used to pay (very odd). He returned to the food area and proceeded preparing food. It was then that I noticed that none of the people involved with the food was wearing gloves. I did not notice any handwashing going on so I became concerned that they may be cross-contaminating our Gluten-free food with hands that had been handling wheat-based dough -or worse? I called it in to Pizza Nova who stated that all food employees were supposed to wear gloves by their standards. Not going back! Ever!
