Heads up to any coeliacs that want to order the Monte Carlo pizza, you will be getting a vegetarian pizza. This company does not replace the seasoned chicken (apparently containing gluten) with normal chicken. We were not made aware of this until we got home to find a dry, vegetarian pizza. Called to express our disappointment and wasn’t offered a free pizza or any discount for next time..

We visited Pizza Press for the first time after reading all the rave reviews. Ordering online saved any in-store hassles, and our meal was ready 15 minutes after the store opened. Our selection was two large (regular 9" or large 12" are the only options) gluten-free pizzas, namely the 3 Pigs & Apple, and the Chicken, Avo & Bert. That's all we chose to buy as pizza was the focus and we didn't want to fill up on sides or breads. For the record, this business offers some really creative and unique options, which was a huge draw card for us. All the traditional pizzas are there, but then so are ones topped with banana or soy sauce and Karaage Chicken! I wrestled with this review and really debated whether to nominate 4 or 5 stars, for the reason that the pizzas didn't pack as much flavour as I had anticipated. The more I reflected on the whole experience, however, the more I changed my outlook. The pizzas were thin crust (light and crispy) and were generously topped with fresh and flavoursome ingredients. I always eat pizzas with a certain level of trepidation, as they often leave me bloated, heavy, and dehydrated. None of this happened with Pizza Press, which was awesome. I acknowledge that other stores sell pizzas that can be rather oily, salty and cheesy. And yes, that probably increases the flavour profile, but it comes at a cost. And trust me, I'll take the Pizza Press experience every single time! Overall, with the straightforward ordering, friendly service, and quality products on offer, Pizza Press delivers many positives and I would recommend you give them a go.
