Pizza Punks do excellent pizza, their bases are incredible and the range of toppings (particularly create your own where you can go wild) are very good.
We tend to do bottomless brunch for special occasions, a pizza and a selection of four cocktails, a beer or prosecco, unlimited for 90 minutes.
The service at Newcastle can fluctuate. There are times we've been where we've had to chase down servers to ask for a top up, when they've not been too busy to notice our empty glasses. Other times the size of the glass has gotten noticeably smaller as the time ticks on, which is cheeky.
Last visit was excellent however. Our two servers, who's names I wish I'd caught as I wanted to single them out for praise, were superb. A tattooed lad with a tache, and a friendly lass with long, light brown/dirty blonde hair. Neither of them could do enough for us, they were excellent.
One negative, they've recently changed the supplier of their meat substitute, and it is now no longer gluten free. A small thing, but it had a big impact on our friend who is celiac and vegetarian, loves PP pizza and suddenly had his options cut.
Still, it's a banging bit of grub and worth a visit.
