Pizza Twist

First time here. Built up an appetite shopping at Living Spaces (which is nearby). So glad we gave it a try! The atmosphere has has a good vibe to it. The interior is modern and bright. They offer both gluten-free crust and vegetarian options. Which is great if someone in your group has dietary restrictions. The employee (bet he was an owner) was so kind and welcoming. Ended up getting a gluten-free Hawaiian Style. The toppings were fresh and the sauce was super good (they offer a choice of red or white sauce on whatever you order). We didn't order any but they have wings too. Some other patrons had wings and they looked amazing with plenty of flavor options. There is also bottled beer and cider available. Definitely recommend a visit.

TLDR: If you want delicious pizza that's highly unique and fresh, go here. -- Whenever I am thinking of great pizza, two places come to mind. The first being the local pizza spot from UC Merced, and the second, PizzaTwist in Roseville. My family and I are regulars, consistently amazed at the quality of the customer service and familial warmth that we have received as customers. PizzaTwist contains all the markers of a great restaurant and establishment, as its imaginative Indian fusion pies create a food experience unlike anywhere else in the bland monotony of Suburbia's more established names - subway, pizza hut, Mcdonalds, etc.. Furthermore, the array of vegan and vegetarian options that are offered quell any worries about feeding your friends or family members that may have diet restrictions. However, no place is without fault! I ventured to try the vegan wings, and though the flavor was spectacular, the texture was lacking. I'm unsure what the meat substitute was (if it was soy-based or other?), however, I would recommend experimenting with Seitan (Vital wheat Gluten), as its a major constituent in many wonderful meat substitutes -- such as the Field Roast brand (which you can find in the grocery store) -- offering a dense, meaty texture packed with plenty of protein! Gluten-intolerant persons or those with celiac's would not be able to enjoy this, however. In sum, eat here.
