At the time of booking, when we asked if they also had gluten-free and above all if they made it themselves, we were told yes, well.....surprise....on the menu it only said "gluten-free margherita" there the first doubt, by asking the staff he confirmed that it could be had with any filling......and there the doubts increased....but if you make the gluten-free ones like the others....why only put the paper on the margherita pizza? When in real pizzerias with a gluten-free option on the menu it says "all pizzas can also be had gluten-free".
Simple.....because they are FROZEN PIZZAS with a daisy base so they can fill them on request. I ask you:
why did you say on the phone that the gluten-free dough was made by you when in fact it is frozen?
I understand that celiac customers are rare....but that's not why they should be taken for granted, then when the pizza arrived at the table we would have noticed.....after years of experience unfortunately. If you offer something... make it good and be more honest with those who point out these problems to you, celiac disease is not a trend like some other way of eating... unfortunately it is a problem.
Disappointment.....not so much because in the end the pizza was frozen....but more because of the way we felt.........
