The Wanderer -Outdoor Bar & Patio at Revolve Hall- Apple Valley

I couldn’t understand why the beautiful patio area was 75% empty on a Saturday at 5 pm until after about 15 minutes of being there. Our server finally refilled my husband and I’s drinks after we had to ask the manager because they had sat empty for 20 minutes. I ordered the gluten free pizza crust that was $3 more and it was the worst GF crust ever. I just ate the toppings off the pizza and my server didn’t even ask me anything about it. My son ordered 2 kids menu items, so he could take one for lunch the next day. The server never offered to refill his drink even though technically, he should have gotten at least 2. My son’s pizza was also terrible. He said the French fries were decent, that’s the only thing that was positive. It’s too bad, because Farmer and Fishmonger were one of our previously favorite restaurants. Never again.

I have visited Mezcalito Butcher multiple times with my daughter, who has gluten and rice sensitivities. We both find plenty of options on the menu that we enjoy. The food, drinks, and service have always been excellent. The staff is very friendly. While we haven't tried everything on the menu, the wood-fired pizzas are fantastic. The nachos are great for sharing. My daughter loves the tacos and shrimp ceviche. I have enjoyed the Cubano, New York Strip, and various tacos. The Mezcalito is my favorite drink, but my daughter's cocktails are also delicious. We also loved the brunch Bloody Marias. The flan and Mexican chocolate cake for dessert were both delicious, with the flan being the best I've ever had.
