We came to this pizzeria with a group of 50. We had chosen this pizzeria several times for large groups, so we played it safe. We arrived. Everything was perfect, fast and precise service. We went home, 1 hour after we finished eating and 7 people out of 50 started to feel sick. Some people just vomited, some locked themselves in the bathroom and a girl ended up in hospital for food poisoning that same night. We took both gluten-free and gluten-free pizzas (aware that there could be contamination because they used the same oven) but it wasn't a problem as they had already been tested several times. To be fair, the next evening I called the pizzeria to speak to the manager and explain what had happened, but not to accuse or rail against them, but to inform them and take the necessary precautions for the next time. The answer was a half-hearted "sorry" and that out of 250 covers they had made that evening, only we had felt sick and that we could not be sure that they were responsible. Now... would I have expected a more heartfelt apology? Undoubtedly! Also because there were some people who felt really sick and who transformed a pleasant evening into a nightmare. But the most annoying thing was the fake and half-hearted justifications. We will definitely NOT RETURN. And as far as I can, I will never speak well of this place. Obviously they are tourist places and they don't care about the quality of the services and products they use because there will always be a significant turnover. But it's right to say things as they are.
